Our Mission
What is our purpose?
We exist to fulfill the great commission through the great commandment within gospel community.
Our Vision
What is our goal?
We desire to be a church led by a plurality of biblical-qualified elders, living out the three GCs and multiplying disciples and churches throughout Henderson County and the surrounding area.

Our Distinctives
How are we going to accomplish this?
Expository Preaching
Expositional preaching makes the main point of a passage of Scripture the main point of the sermon and then applies that point to the congregation's life. It is one of the most faithful ways to fulfill what God has commanded and ensure we have kept His Word pure (2 Timothy 4:1-5).

Faithful Evangelism
God calls us to share the Good News with those He places in our lives. How will they hear this truth if we don't tell them (Romans 10:14-15)?

Prayerful Dependence
We are commanded to pray all the time (1 Thessalonians 5:17). Our Lord lived an example of dependence and priority on prayer (Mark 1:35). Who are we to not follow in His footsteps and fulfill His command? We joyfully admit our weakness and inability to accomplish anything outside of the grace of God! So, we boldly approach His throne and make our request known to Him.

The Regulative Principle
From the beginning, God has commanded how He will be worshipped (Exodus 20:1-17). There are many examples of those who have chosen to worship as they wished and were punished for it (Leviticus 10:1-2). We desire to conform to the commands of Scripture in our Sunday Morning Worship Services so that everything is done orderly (1 Corinthians 14:40) in God's eyes and is acceptable to Him!

Intergenerational Ministry
Intergenerational ministry is expected and commanded in the Bible (Titus 2:1-8). Both the 9-year-old and the 90-year-old can minister to one another; this is God's design!

Generous Living
We are to worship God as a living sacrifice (Romans 12:1-2) and to realize everything we have is truly His (James 1:17). God loves a cheerful giver (2 Corinthians 9:6-7), and we will choose to sacrificially give to the one who gave us everything!

Every Member a Minister
It is a common misunderstanding today in which we think the pastor is the only minister of the church. The Bible tells us pastors have been given to us as gifts (Ephesians 4:11-16) to equip every believer to do ministry. We have an "all hands on deck" mentality here and find a place for everyone to serve the body of Christ!

Kingdom Multiplication
The primary command of the church is to go (Matthew 28:19-20). We are to go out into the world, evangelize, train up new converts, and continue the process again. We desire to be a church fulfilling the great commission in a tangible way here where God has planted us.
